Oct. 17, 2006 – ARTfusion Magazine will celebrate its first edition by hosting the St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours from 5:30-7:30 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 19, at Blackbeard's Castle, on Blackbeard's Hill.
The event will feature music by the Hintz Academy of Music and Sammy Watts. Hors doeuvres will be served along with door prizes and the famous $2 Chamber Bar.
ARTfusion magazine is created by Virgin Islanders Priscilla L. Hintz and Robin A. Fredey. The magazine's aims are to offer a view of the arts that transcends any one discipline and provide a means of accessing the arts and culture in the V.I. ARTfusion is sponsored by Kerrygold Butter (distributed by St. Thomas Dairies), Guardian Insurance, Grey Goose and PAMA (distributed by West Indies Corporation). It is supported by a grant from the V.I. Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
