June 28, 2006 – Emanuel Charles, also known as "Herman," of Sunrise Cove Apartments died on June 20. He died at Roy L. Schneider Hospital and was 84 years old.
He is survived by sons: Keith and Bernard Charles; daughters: Grethlyn Edgecombe, Shona Barry, Veronica Charles and Gwendolyn Charles. Other survivors are son-in-law, Karl Edgecombe Sr.; 15 grandchildren, including Karl Edgecombe Jr., Jan-Alexis Barry and Brandi Barry; 18 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
There will be a viewing from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Wednesday, June 28, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, June 29, at Christ Church Methodist. Interment will take place at Western Cemetery No. 1.
