Kean's Upcoming Fundraiser: 7-Mile Walk, Run or Bike

May 19, 2006 – The Ivanna Eudora Kean High School Parent Teacher Student Association, administration and student body announces the Third Annual Kean Challenge 7-Mile Walk/Run/Bike Fundraiser. It is scheduled to begin at 6:30 a.m., Monday, May 29, on Memorial Day, at the Kean Campus. The race will go through the Frydenhoj, Tutu and Smith Bay areas and back to the campus. Students, staff, parents and the general public are invited to participate.
Advanced registration through May 27 is only $5 for adults and $3 for kids, through age 18. Event day registration is $10, cash only, and begins at 5:45 a.m. Registration forms are available for pickup and can be dropped off during business hours at the following locations: Caribbean Surf Company (formerly Players/Going Senile) in Havensight, on the Waterfront in downtown Charlotte Amalie, East End Secretarial Services, the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School and the Julius E. Sprauve School (during school hours) on St. John.
Local food and crafts will be on sale from 10 a.m. under the Kean High bus shed. Interested vendors are invited to participate. Forms for vendors are available at the school and the registration is $20.
