What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

May 16, 2006 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM, Sunday, May 21, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This Sunday we feature Emmylou Harris and Mark Knopfler, Sonya Kitchell, B.B. King, Bruce Springsteen and much more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "All the Roadrunning," a new collaboration between former Dire Strait leader Mark Knopfler and country artist Emmylou Harris. Their talents and different styles meld in a wonderful manner.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Words Came Back to Me," the debut release from Sonya Kitchell, who writes some great songs and sings with a jazzy feel. Many critics are raving about this CD.
We celebrate the birthdays of Ron Isley of the Isley Brothers and Hilton Valentine, guitarist for the Animals.
We include new music from world music group Calexico, former Limelighter Glenn Yarborough and his daughter Holly, Steve Gillette and Cindy Mangsen, Shawn Mullins and more.
We play music from Anna Cheek, who will be playing throughout the Virgin Islands in May and music from Sara Hickman, who plays at Tillett Gardens on St. Thomas next March.
We also include music from John Hiatt, B.B King, Radney Foster, Bruce Springsteen and more.
