Parking Restrictions Set For Friday Jump-Up

May 4, 2006 — Parking and driving restrictions are scheduled for the Triathlon Jump Up Friday in Christiansted.
All restrictions will be in effect from 4 p.m. to midnight. According to a press release from the V.I. Police Department, vehicles found parked in restricted areas will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner's expense.
— No Parking will be permitted On King Street or on Company Street from King Cross Street to the Wharf area.
— No Parking will be permitted on Queen Cross Street from the intersection of Company Street to the Waterfront at the Caravelle Hotel.
— No Parking will be permitted on Church Street between King and Company streets.
Vehicles traveling east into Christiansted will be re-routed at King Cross Street. Vehicles entering the town from the east end area will be re-routed on Queen Street.
Free parking will be permitted in the United States Park Service Lot on Hospital Street until 10 p.m. Motorists finding that their vehicle has been towed should contact the Anselmo Marshall Command at 773-2530, or call 778-2244 or 911 for further information.
