Police Week Committee to Hold Auction

April 18, 2006 – The Virgin Islands Police Department's St. Croix Police Week committee is sponsoring an evening of entertainment and a "Black and Gold Auction." It will be held at 8 p.m., on Friday, April 21, at the Fabulous Club Flava in Christiansted, St. Croix. The auction is to raise funds for the up-coming Police Week Activities during the week of May 14 through May 20. The audience will bid on a male or female with whom they will share a night of food, fun and dance, according to a press release from the Office of the Police Commissioner.
The fundraiser will be hosted by radio personality Rashidi Clendenen with music provided by DJ's Porter and Ab. Admission is $10 and bids will start at $20 for a date with the man or woman of your choice. Tickets can be purchased at VIPD Mars Hill Complex in Frederiksted and Anselmo Marshal Command in Christiansted. Dress is elegantly casual
