Alert: WAPA Limits Office Hours During Easter Holiday

April 12, 2006 — In observance of the Easter holiday, the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority customer service offices will be closed on Thursday, April 13 through Easter Monday, April 17.
Customer service offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix will open on Tuesday, April 18 and Wednesday, April 19 at 7:30 a.m. to accommodate customer traffic but will resume normal hours on Thursday, April 20. The St. John office will open at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18.
WAPA customers are reminded that payments can be made at all local banks or placed in the drop boxes at the authority's administrative offices. Customers with PIN numbers can also make payments at WAPA's Web site, www.viwapa.vi.
On St. Croix, potable water standpipes will be closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. The St. Croix standpipe will be open during normal working hours, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the other days during holiday week.
On St. Thomas and St. John potable water standpipes will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. On St. Thomas the standpipes will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Holy Thursday, Good Saturday, and Easter Monday. On St. John the standpipe will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The authority wishes every one a safe Easter holiday.
