Alert: WAPA Water Service Interruption Scheduled for Friday

March 15, 2006 — The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority is advising its St. Thomas water customers in the vicinity of the Paul M. Pearson Gardens and the Lucinda Millin Home for the Aged of a service interruption scheduled for Friday, March 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During the water service interruption, personnel will upgrade large customer meters as part of the Authority's continuing line-loss reduction effort.
Tenants in the Pearson Gardens and Millin Home communities will be without potable water for just two hours during the period between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. while work on the meter connections in their particular area is completed.
Every effort will be made to complete the work at each meter site as quickly as possible.
The Authority appreciates the patience of its customers during this service enhancement effort.
