WAPA Schedules Water Service Interruption for Saturday

March 7, 2006 — The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority is advising its St. John water customers that WAPA will perform a routine leak detection survey of St. John's water distribution system on Saturday, March 11 from midnight until 8 a.m.
The survey will assist personnel in reducing water system losses on the island.
Water personnel will be isolating customer water meters as part of the leak detection survey. As a result, customers will experience water service interruption during the leak surveying period.
The authority appreciates the patience of its customers during this service enhancement effort on St. John.
