Brief: Hovensa Reduces Fuel Prices on St. Croix

March 6, 2006 — Hovensa reported it reduced the price of gasoline and diesel fuel to its customers on St. Croix effective Monday. Hovensa reduced the price 17 cents per gallon for regular gasoline, 20.5 cents per gallon for premium gasoline and 2 cents per gallon for diesel, according to a release from the company. The new prices for these products are $1.685, $1.76, and $1.915 respectively, including the fuel tax of 7 cents per gallon, which Hovensa collects and remits to the V.I. Bureau of Internal Revenue, the release said.
