VIWMA Holds Waste Haulers Meeting

Feb. 23, 2006 – The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority advises all solid waste and septic haulers that there will be a meeting on Thursday, March 2, at Palm Courts Harbour View from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This meeting is for all waste haulers who utilize the landfills or wastewater treatment plants.
New rules and regulations for the use of the VIWMA's disposal facilities will be introduced. Persons or companies that possess a current waste disposal permit are encouraged to attend, as are tow truck companies and anyone who would dispose of bulk waste, scrap metal, or other waste from the territory's landfills or wastewater treatment plants.
