Dear Source:
I agree with both Sidney W. Binks III and Anna Clarke's letters. You all hit the nail on the head. Health Care insurance should be extended to common law or domestic partnership (gay or straight) as long as they meet the standard and pay their bills. No one is asking for a free ride or special privileges. It should be extended to everyone on an equal playing field.
Health insurance is a necessity in this day and age. Without it…it may be a life or death situation. Why would you want to take that away from anyone! I hope those people who have "issues" with this are not lying in surgery with a doctor or nurse who has issues with you. You just might.
