Pistarckle Theater Presents 'Stinkin' Rich'

Feb. 8, 2006 – Pistarckle Theater presents "Stinkin' Rich," a play based upon Moliere's "The Miser." An old man is obsessed with saving his money and clashes with his two children (who are obsessed with spending it) in the hilarious, slapstick-comedy filled play, "Stinkin' Rich."
Set in the flapper age of New York's 1920s, "Stinkin Rich" is an adaptation of Moliere's classic play "The Miser." Full of broad, physical comedy and slapstick drawn from the Commedia d'el Arte tradition, "The Miser" is one of the great comic masterpieces of all time.
"Stinkin' Rich" stars Marc Fellner and Mike Kuich, Bethany Burgess-Smith, Al Beebach, Rose Jensen, Carl Williams, Trudy Tucker and Samantha Mathurin.
Our pay-as-you-can performance is at 8 p.m. Feb. 23. Other show dates are Feb. 24, 25 and March 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11. All shows are at 8 p.m. at Pistarckle Theater at Tillett Gardens on St. Thomas.
Tickets are available now by calling 775-7877. They are also available at: Beans Bytes & Web Sites (downtown), Draughting Shaft (Havensight), and Marina Market and East End Secretarial (both in Red Hook).
