Superior Court Changes its Holiday Schedule

Dec. 12, 2005 – The Superior Court of the Virgin Islands has amended its schedule of holiday closings for the Christmas Season to include Monday, Jan. 2, 2006 and Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006:
Friday, Dec. 23, from noon, Christmas Eve
Monday, Dec. 26, Christmas Second Day
Monday, Jan. 2, New Year's Second Day
Wednesday, Jan. 4, from noon, St. Croix Festival Fair Day (St. Croix District only)
Thursday, Jan. 5, Jouvert (St. Croix District only)
Friday, Jan. 6, Three Kings' Day
Advice of Rights, emergency hearings and previously calendared matters will be heard as scheduled. Filings will be accepted in both districts on Friday, Dec. 23, from noon to 5 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. via a mail receptacle at the entrance to the first floor of each courthouse in both districts. Also, in the District of St. Croix, filings will be accepted on Wednesday, Jan 4 from noon to 5 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. via a mail receptacle.
