Dec. 8, 2005 – Tune in to WTJX (Channel 12) this Sunday, Dec. 11, for the Diabetes Workshop on Local Starches. It will air at 1 p.m. on Channel 12 and DT 44 and again at 2 p.m. on the Education Channel DT 44-4.
The program, taped earlier, focuses on nutrition for diabetics. The UVI Cooperative Extension Service and the V.I. Department of Health Bureau of Nutrition Services sponsored the workshop.
Viewers on the south side of St. Croix are reminded that they can receive WTJX's signal on translator station W05AW Channel 5 by hooking up a small outdoor antenna and in some cases a pair of rabbit ears to their TV sets.
