Community Alert: WAPA Installing Fire Hydrant

Dec. 5, 2005 – The V.I. Water and Power Authority's St. Croix water maintenance crew will install a fire hydrant in the Sunny Isle area Tuesday. The installation will take place on the south side of Sam Goody beginning at 9 p.m.
According to a press release from WAPA, there are no anticipated service interruptions to water customers in the Sunny Isle area. However, all motorists are asked to exercise extreme caution and obey all detours, traffic signs, and flagging personnel.
The Authority said in the release that its officials appreciate "the public's patience during this service enhancement effort."
