Sigma Theta Omega Has Formal Event
Sigma Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. presents "Celebrating Generations of Excellence" on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m., at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort.
This event will present Pearls of Elegance: Braeanna Hillman and Ejah Praag, and will also honor Women of Excellence: Sheila Blyden, Viveca Hodge-Webster and Corine Matthias.
The attire for the event is formal and proceeds will benefit the Gertrude Lockhart Dudley Melchior Scholarship Fund. Tickets are $40 and may be purchased from the Pearls, honorees, or members of the sorority.
