Brief: Afternoon Outage Shuts Down Northside

Oct. 26, 2005 – The V.I. Water and Power Authority experienced problems with St. Thomas Feeder Seven Wednesday afternoon resulting in a near three-hour outage.
A burned out phase line caused a complete loss of the feeder, WAPA spokeswoman Cassandra Dunn said, explaining that "Line department personnel were required to replace the line and cut back on some trees."
Electrical power was restored just before 8 p.m. The outage affected areas including: Solberg Hill, Four Corners and St. Peter Mountain.
