St. John's Places and Names Discussed at Historical Society Meeting

The St. John Historical Society's first monthly meeting of the 2005-2006 season will be held on Tuesday, November 8th, at the Bellevue Village Community Center on Gift Hill, beginning at 6 p.m. Members, their guests, and anyone wishing to join the Society are cordially invited to attend. A President's Reception, with refreshments will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a short address by our President, David Knight. David will outline the Society's plans for the coming year, make a special announcement concerning the St. John Museum, and unveil the Society's new website. This will be followed at 7:30 by the feature speaker for the evening, Society Historian, Mr. Elroy Sprauve, who will present: St. John Places and Their Names. Please join us for this special evening, and bring a friend.
