Arthur Woodley, Bass Virtuoso
The American Bass Arthur Woodley, a native Virgin Islander, has been internationally acclaimed for his performance in both opera and concert. Mr. Woodley is best known for his distinguished history with the role of Porgy in Porgy and Bess. He also has performed numerous principal roles with Seattle Opera, Opera Company of Philadelphia and Dallas Opera, among others. Mr. Woodley has been featured with the National Symphony Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony and Baltimore Symphony, and appeared in many prestigious Eurpean summer music festivals.
Note: Events take place at Tillett Gardens on St. Thomas in Tutu area across from the Four Winds Plaza. For the concerts there is a pre-fixe dinner available starting at 6:30. Show time is 8 p.m.
