Appalled by Racism on St. John

Dear Source,
I must say I was very appalled after reading the articles related to the racist incidents on St. John. Racism anywhere is disturbing, but when there is such blatant racism evident in your hometown, with little support being noted by the authorities that are suppose to protect us, it is very disheartening. I currently reside in Maryland (native of St. Croix) and reading this makes me want to take the next plane out and join the protest.
Thanks for keeping those of us abroad informed.
