Racism is Alive and Well

Yes, racism is alive and well. Particularly on St. John. My wife and I moved from the island just months ago because of this issue. We have been repeatedly discriminated against and treated with prejudice for no other reason than the color of our skin. We had lived on St. John for five years.
I have never in all my time on the island seen a white person treat a west indian with racism, prejudice or discrimination. In our opinion, the racism is coming almost exclusively from the West Indians and directed towards white people. There is such hate and anger in some peoples eyes that it is scary. On an island that is so devout to the Lord, where is the compassion. In a land were the teachings of Marcus Garvey, Ras Tafari, and Bob Marley echo so loudly, Where is the Love?
