Aug. 31, 2005 – The V.I. Water and Power Authority stated in a press release Wednesday that emergency repairs are under way to address a major leak on the main potable water line serving the town of Frederiksted. The Authority expects to complete emergency repairs by 4 p.m.
During the repair period, customers within the town area may experience pressure fluctuations and service interruptions.
