Community Alert: Bomb Threat Shuts Down Seaborne

August 18, 2005 – Seaborne Airlines received a bomb threat on Thursday afternoon and both terminals were shut down.
According to Novelle Francis, territorial police chief, the threat was received a couple minutes before 5 p.m. He said the terminals on St. Thomas and St. Croix were evacuated and were in the process of being searched at 6 p.m.
This is the second bomb threat to shut down the terminals this summer. The first threat disrupted Seaborne service for several hours on June 24.
