In Praise of Government Employees and Senators

Dear Editor,

We, all too often, are quick to comment on areas of shortcomings and less than positive experiences. Seldom do we take a moment to commend and acknowledge excellence when we have had an experience of excellence. I would like to take a moment and shine the spotlight on a group of government employees that I am proud to have representing us.

I recently had an opportunity to visit each of the St. Croix senators' offices at the Lagoon Complex in Frederiksted. I am please to say that, overall, I was warmly and professionally received by each Senator's staff. However, I would be remiss in failing to acknowledge the superior level of professionalism that I encountered in Senator Pedro Encarnacion's office. His staff was exceptionally accommodating, helpful and informative. It was refreshing.

Believing that excellence should be noted, I duly note the administrative professionals staffing the offices of the St. Croix senators and especially those that serve in the office of The Honorable Sen. Pedro Encarnacion.
