Obviously a practical solution to St. John's old tire problem is needed. Landfilling, illegal dumping or storing them should have ended long ago.
There are many other viable options that will solve the problem with minimal investment and cost to consumers. And most importantly, those other options will not encourage the spread of dengue and other serious diseases, pose a fire hazard or pollute the environment.
