VI Waste Management Authority Invites Tire Dealers to Meeting

July 23, 2005 – According to a press release, the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority is inviting St. Croix business owners of tire dealerships, tire services and service stations to a meeting regarding the disposal of tires. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 27, at 10 a.m. at the Department of Education's Curriculum Center in Kingshill.
"The purpose of this meeting is to work together to find a long term solution to tire disposal problems and to work on a plan to clean up illegal tire dump sites, " said May Adams Cornwall, executive director of the Authority.
All interested tire business owners are welcome to attend. For more information, call 773-4489.
