July 11, 2005 -Delegate Donna M. Christensen has changed her staff in the St. Croix, St. Thomas and Washington, D.C., offices.
In a press release from her office Monday she said, "I am pleased to announce that Luz Belardo Webster has joined the St. Croix staff this June as my executive assistant."
Christensen explained that Webster will handle constituent casework, be a liaison with local agencies and departments and public and private civic organizations, as well as representing the delegate at St. Croix events and coordinating special events.
Claire Roker, who served as St. Croix office manager for eight years, retired in May.
Christensen said, "We wish Claire the best in her retirement and know that she will continue to serve the community in whatever capacity she can."
On St. Thomas, Kebra Emanuel has joined the staff as staff assistant and constituent services representative. In addition to assisting staff, Emanuel will also handle constituent issues, assist in answering written inquiries and representing the delegate at St. Thomas events.
In Washington, D.C., Britt Weinstock has joined the staff as the new senior health policy advisor. Weinstock will handle all health issues, particularly in the area of minority health. Weinstock replaces Aranthan Jones who has left the position after four years to serve on the staff of the House Ways and Means Committee.
