July 9, 2005 – Beginning Monday, Route 42, Tabor and Harmony Road, will be reduced to one lane for three weeks while road repairs are made.
Route 42 runs between Mandahl Road and the Cassi Hill intersection at Route 38, Smith Bay Road.
A release from George Phillips, acting commissioner of Public Works, said the southbound lane to Cassi Hill is being reconstructed as part of the "Island-wide Pavement Rehabilitation project."
Phillips said traffic will be controlled by automatic traffic signals and flag people.
