July 1, 2005 – Benita Perez-Acosta died at age 96 at her residence in Estate Catherine's Rest. She died on Tuesday, June 28.
She is survived be her sons: Ruben, Juan, Cesar Anibal and Cesario "Chino" Acosta; her daughter, Iris Violeta Garcia; daughters-in-law: Carmen "Gloria" Acosta, Lu Maria Acosta, and Rosalia "Charly" Rivera; sons-in-law Felix Garcia and Carlos Adorno. She is also survived by 14 grandsons, 12 granddaughters, many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, July 5 at Iglesia Metodista Unidos at #4 Royal Manor. A viewing will begin at 10 a.m. to be followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
