June 22, 2005 – Viggo Niles Sr. died on June 18, 2005 at the age of 77 at his residence in the Hospital Ground.
He is survived by a special stepdaughter, Sonia Clendinen, stepchildren, Irad "Bobby" and Conrad "Popita" Brathwaite, David "Tony" Hodge and Shirley Robinson. He is also survived by his sister, Cassilda Berry, sisters-in law Glancestell Herbert and Oprah Niles, brothers-in–law Realdis Todman, Enoris Todman and Alfredo Cameron. Others include daughters-in-law, Denise and Thelma Niles and son-in-law, Wayne "Sombe" Claxton, as well as many grandchildren,nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
