BUILDING PERMITS CLOSES PLAN REVIEW SECTION FOR A WEEK
Commissioner Dean C. Plaskett, Esq., of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR), announces that the Division of Permits will close it’s Plan Review and Inspection services section from Monday, June 6th through Friday, June 10th, 2005 at all three (3) office locations (St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. John) in order to allow it’s staff to host and participate in the upcoming DPNR/ICC 2003 Series of International Building Codes workshops.
However, normal front office transactions will still be conducted at those locations to facilitate the general publics’ daily business activities. Every effort will be made by the department to ensure all reviewing of plans or scheduled inspections are performed prior to the planned week of training or those activities will take place the week after the code training concludes.
Commissioner Plaskett apologizes in advance for any inconveniences this may have caused the community.
