CZM Hosts Free Workshop on Permitting Process

June 2, 2005 – Commissioner Dean C. Plaskett, Esq. of the Department of Planning & Natural Resources announces that the Division of Coastal Zone Management invites all interested persons to participate in the CZM Permitting Process Workshop: "Preparing a Coastal Zone Management Permit Application."
This workshop is free and open to local government agencies, community organizations, architects, engineers, draftsmen, contractors and other interested persons. It will provide information about minor and major development permit applications, local and federal consistency regulatory updates, permit review process, alternative septic systems, and compliance with approved CZM permit conditions.
This workshop will be conducted on Friday, June 24, 2005, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center, St. Thomas Campus. This workshop will be replicated on St. Croix in July.
