May 23, 2005 – Alicia Rodriquez, died Thursday at the Longwood Health Care Facility in Florida. She was 84. A viewing and funeral service is set for Friday.
Rodriquez, also known as "Mama,"or "Mimi" is survived by her five daughters; Ada Monell Ortiz, Dalila Santans, Carmen Rios, Petra Rodriquez Marine and Maria Rodriguez Thomas; six sons, Felix Santana, Santiago 'Chargo' Santana, Luis Rodriquez Jr., George 'Poochie' Rodriguez, John 'Pacho' Rodriguez and Gold Rodriguez.
She is also survived by two daughters-in-law, one uncle, nine sisters, two brothers, 31 nieces and nephews, 41 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
The viewing will start at 9 a.m. at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel and will be followed at 10 a.m. by a funeral service. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No.3.
