Boy Scouts Wash Cars to Raise Money

April 6, 2005 – Thinking your car could use a little more shine? The Boy Scouts have just what you're looking for, and you can help them out at the same time.
The St. Croix district scouts recently announced they'll be holding a monthly car wash to help raise money for the 2005 National Boy Scouts Jamboree.
Every car cleaned puts the St. Croix boys a little closer to a life-building event that will be held this year in Fort A.P. Hill, Va., from July 25 to Aug. 3.
Car washes will be held on the second Saturday of every month from now until July 9 at various locations around St. Croix. April 9, the washing will happen from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot by Schooner Bay Market Place in Gallows Bay.
If you want to know more about the car wash or how you can help the Boy Scouts, contact Eduardo Eleonora at 340-513-1904.
