Wilson memorial celebration Saturday

March 30, 2005 – A celebration of the life of much loved community activist, Liz Mary King Wilson, 81, who died March 5 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Nature Conservancy at Estate Little Princess.
Wilson was an integral part of the St. Croix community for more than 40 years. She was an avid environmentalist, teacher, writer, editor, some time naturalist, and, at one point, ticket agent for Antilles Airboats.
All those who knew Wilson are invited to attend the celebration, and to bring remembrances to share. Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Knights will supply the music.
To get to the Nature Conservancy, head north from Five Corners, and follow the signs.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Wilson's name should be made to the Caribbean Dance Company of the Virgin Islands or the St. Croix Environmental Association.
