I certainly welcome Mr. Allen and will place my hopes that he really can do something about the mail delivery.
My son, in Georgia, sent me a TV for Christmas. The invoice says it was mailed on December 9th but it did not arrive on St Thomas until the middle of February of this year, 2005. Now that is much more than one month.. That was very distressing to both my son and I because I was without a TV for all that time and I missed all the beautiful Christmas programs.
That is not the only problem either. I have ordered books from Amazon.com Market place and those have taken months before getting to St. Thomas. In one instance, a package sent Ptiority mail by Amazon, took 3 months to getto me. Even Express mail sometimes took weeks to be delivered. I was so disgusted that I stopped complaining.
Again, welcome to St. Thomas, Mr. Allen. We hope you can perform a miracle.
