FYI: Positive Retreat Camp This Easter

This coming Holiday, the children of St. Croix will definitely have something positive to occupy their minds and time.
Senator Terrence "Positive" Nelson will conduct his "Positive Work Unity Annual Retreat Camp at Cramer's Park. The retreat will run from March 24-28th. The Senator encourages children from the ages of 5-18 years old to participate. According to the senator, parents and guardians can accompany their children.
This positive atmosphere will be a community village where the participants will be exposed to an assembled program comprising of an early morning exercise followed by educational games, story telling, African drum beating, dance and lectures.
In what he described as "Keeping It Real" Senator Nelson said there will be positive discussions dealing with making effective contributions to one's community as well as teaching demonstrations conducted by the Sancofer Dancers and other invited guest speakers.
At this positive four-day camp, the participants will be able to attend a Sunday morning "sunrise" service at Point Udall. Participants can bring their own tents or rent a space. Most importantly, all will be provided with three (3) meals per day.
According to Senator Nelson, it takes a village to raise a child, and as such, his Positive Work Unity Retreat Camp will serve as the starting point.
Senator Nelson said children are what we make them, therefore, we must always remember, healthy citizens are the greatest assets any country can have, and as such, we must start with the little ones first.
