The annual commemoration of Transfer Day begins on St. Croix at 10 a.m. under the Saman Tree at the Lawaetz Family Museum in Little La Grange. Music-makers Bill Bass, Stanley, the Joyful Voice Community Choir, Pearl B. Larsen Quadrille Dancers, story-tellers, and speakers will take part in the day of history. After the free program, local food prepared by Educational Complex's "Good to Chew Catering" and drinks will be on sale to benefit the sponsoring organizations, the St. Croix Friends of Denmark and the St. Croix Landmarks Society.
