March 8, 2005 – Virgin Islands Montessori School is hosting a "Mini-SAT Prep" Family Night at Montessori's Upper School on Thursday, March 17, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The event is free, however there is a $10 materials fee.
Any student of freshman age with one attending parent or guardian is invited, and pre-registration and prepayment of the materials fee are mandatory. The event will be kept small to keep it effective and personal. Persons will be signed up on a first-come, first-served basis.
Content is based upon the NEW SAT. Attending pairs of students and parents will receive a full-length practice test, and students and parents will authentically take and discuss solutions and explanations to at least one entire math section and one entire English section during the evening.
