Seafood Safety Seminar

March 4, 2005 – Dr. Maria Beatriz Riesco from the University of Puerto Rico Sea Grant College Program will hold a seminar about seafood safety fro 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 14, at the Frenchtown Community Center. This seminar is geared toward restaurateurs and grocers, as well as community members who buy, prepare and eat fresh seafood.
Issues to be addressed include safe seafood handling, Ciguatera, histimine poisoning, seafood quality and more.
