The Full Moon of February 23-24:
Feb. 24, 2005 – The Moon shines full in Virgo, the sign of the great goddess in her Earthy texture, sensually responsive to the rhythms of Nature and the cycle of the Seasons. The Moon is reflecting the light of the Sun in Pisces, two Fish tied together by a cord. The story is that Aphrodite and her son Eros were being chased by the monstrous Typhoon. To escape, they shape-shifted into fish. Aphrodite tied them together so they would not lose each other in the current.
This reminds me of the story about a couple of divers during the tsunami, surfacing in shock at the devastation that took place when they were in the underwater world. With Uranus in Pisces, there is a lot going on in the sea. Someone (my Pisces daughter) told me that dozens of new marine life forms were discovered when tossed up on the shores after the wave.
The Sun of the Full Moon is conjunct the planet Uranus, the Electrical Awakener, heightening the currents and tides of change. Uranus stays in a sign for seven years, and entered Pisces in 2003-2004. This is an especially unusual Full Moon, accompanied as it is by the lightning and enlightening effects of the Change Agent planet.
Have you noticed a higher awareness of the invisible web that connects us all? The psychic internet is being turned up a few notches. Whether in "day dreams" or night dreams, we are communicating on many levels. This Full Moon suggests an increase in the level of downloading through the aethers, also indicated by the February 21 entry of Chiron into Aquarius, an electrical sign. I wrote something last month called EXCITED VIRTUALITIES about Chiron going into Aquarius. (If you didn't get it, let me know and I'll send it to you.) It's here now! The frequencies are jumping like celestial popcorn. Not only the psychic internet, but the global internetwork and broadband will likely erupt with alternative snap, crackle and pop. The solar flares are singing celestial, along with rare news of a star escaping the galaxy:
The star is heading for the emptiness of intergalactic space after being ejected from the heart of the Milky Way following a close encounter with a black hole, said Warren Brown, an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. "We have never before seen a star moving fast enough to completely escape the confines of our galaxy," he said. "We're tempted to call it the outcast star because it was forcefully tossed from its home."
AND the super-magnetic neutron star explosion, the largest in hundreds of years. This flash of radiation on 27 December was so powerful that it bounced off the Moon and lit up the Earth's atmosphere:
Dr Rob Fender, of Southampton University in the United Kingdom, told the BBC News Web site:
"This is a once-in-a-lifetime event. We have observed an object only 20km across, on the other side of our galaxy, releasing more energy in a 10th of a second than the Sun emits in 100,000 years." The article goes on to say: The initial burst of high-energy radiation subsided quickly but there continues to be an afterglow at longer radio wavelengths. Napping is highly recommended. Moments of relaxation open brain waves in the higher mind, tuning into octaves of information beyond the daily grind. Extra day-dream time is appropriate for this Full Moon, maybe even one of the most important things you can do. Don't let anyone tell you it's a waste of time. Allow the universe to stimulate your imagination with new ideas "out of the blue."
Sea Bathing is a top remedy. The turquoise salt waters of the Caribbean
have some of the highest healing vibrations on the planet. If you can't be in the sea, take a bath with sea salt and your favorite scents. It cleanses your skin and your aura.
Acupuncture can re-plug and repair the short circuits in your subtle energy field.
Turn off the T.V. Find some new music to listen to … dance …
Join a new group, go out and do something you never do. Surprise yourself!
With the Full Moon in Virgo, our work-a-day world is the place to apply the new download. Tell people at work how much you love them … well, you can do it in a subtle way. Bring them little presents, make time to wish them well each day, Make shop talk about the things that are going right. In other words – attend to the vibration in your work place. That will help smooth out the day for everyone.

Dale "Doc Chiron" O'Brien suggests that Chiron in Aquarius signals the shift to ALTERNATIVE RADIO/TV/Internet" — alternative media and use of the (Aquarian) media by alternative groups. Communicating at higher, celestial frequencies is likely. I'm thinking increasing UFO communication and awareness of superluminal frequencies beyond the speed of light.
How to ground the lightning? In addition to the above suggestions, contemplate this poem from Rumi, a Persian Mystic, translated in Andrew Harvey's "Light Upon Light:"
Be grateful for your life, every detail of it, and
