Services Set for Jayder Chemont

Jan. 12, 2005 – Jayder Chemont died on Jan. 6 at age 31.
He is survived by his father, Venico Chemont; sons, Jayder, P.J. and M.J. Chemont; daughter, Jaydia; brothers, Delroy Venzen, Grayson Smith and Lorenzo Chemont; sisters, Maria Gerard, Alicia, Lucia, Antonia and Juanita Chemont; special aunt, Linda Gerard; special cousin, Laurie Francis; many other aunts, uncles, relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24 at Faith Crhistian Fellwoship-Alive in Christ. Burial will be at Coki Cemetery.
Chemont was found shot to death near Mandahl Bay. In a release from the VIPD, Sgt. Thomas Hannah said, "This incident is classified as a homicide and under investigation to determine the facts and circumstances leading to the death of Mr. Chemont."
