I think that Mr.Donovan speaks for a lot of Virgin Islanders concerning the need for Carnival to continue but also a need for an audit. (See "Don't Stop the Carnival for an Audit")
I challenge the elders of our community to look back in time a bring back the original style of carnival. Mango Jones, are you out there? Why not have the carnival elders meet to have a less dressed up carnival but a carnival with the heart and soul of the people instead? It will be one of the most memorable carnivals for the one that almost did not happen.
