Dec. 6, 2004 – The annual V.I. Pace Runners' Metric Mile road race will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11.
The race, open to runners of all levels and ages, is the second race in the annual V.I. Pace Runners "Run Like the Wind" road race series. The race route starts in Estate Upper Love, proceeds south on Upper Love Road and finishes near the Queen Mary Highway intersection.
Registration begins at 4 p.m. at Annaly Farms on Mid-Island Road. The entry fee is $5. For entry form or more information logon to the V.I. Pace Runners' Web site or call 643-2557 or 777-0258.
Overall awards will be made at the end of the series. Participation certificates will be given after the race.
