Columbus Landing Passes Water Quality Standards

Nov 10, 2004 – Planning and Natural Resources Department officials performed follow-up beach-water-quality analysis around the islands of St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas on Nov 3.
St. Croix’s Columbus Landing, which had failed an earlier test, now meets water quality standards for swimming or fishing.
DPNR Division of Environmental Protection will continue monitoring, through water-quality analysis, all the beaches in the territory and update the public. For additional information call 773-1082.
