Crucian Christmas Festival 2004-2005 Event Schedule

Nov. 28, 2004 – "Sashay to the Rhythm of Our Cultural Vibes, for Festival 2004-2005" is the theme this year for the Crucian Christmas Festival, held on St. Croix.
The festival has been an island tradition since 1952. The calendar of events below will be updated as events are announced.
For further information on events, call the Festival office at 719-3379, Fax 719-3378, or email ccfo@islands.vi. The office is located in at the Village Mall in Barren Spot, upstairs in Suite 106.
Who's who of Festival officers: Lenise Hunt, president; Davidson Charlemagne, vice president; Richard Nicks, treasurer; Audrey Browne, public relations officer.
Individuals or corporations interested in making a contribution to the festival committee can do so by mailing their donation to Crucian Festival Committee, P.O. Box 8596, Sunny Isles, or dropping the donation off at the Festival office.

The schedule, as issued by the Crucian Christmas Festival Organization, Inc., is subject to changes and added information.
Dec. 12
Junior Calypso Contest, 4 p.m. Island Center.

Dec. 17
Calypso Elimination, 8 p.m., Midland Restaurant.

Dec. 19
Miss St. Croix Pageant, 5 p.m., St. Croix Educational Complex.
Dec 26
Beach Jam, 2 p.m., Fort Frederik beach.

Dec 27
Caroling, 6 p.m., Buddhoe Park.

Dec. 30
Festival Village Opening, ribbon-cutting ceremony, 7 p.m., Festival Village.

Jan. 2
Water Sports, noon, Fort Frederik beach.

Jan. 3
Caribbean Night and King and Queen of the Band, 8 p.m., Festival Village.

Jan. 4
Cultural Night/Quelbe Tramp, 8 p.m., Tramp begins at Frederiksted Post Office and ends at Festival Village.

Jan. 5
Food, Arts and Crafts Fair at Ann Heyliger Vegetable Market.
Calypso Monarch Finals, 8 p.m., Paul E. Joseph Stadium.

Jan 6
J'ouvert, 5 a.m., Hannah's Rest corner.
Three Kings Day at Festival Village.
Latin Night, 8 p.m., at Festival Village.

Jan. 7
Children's Parade, 10 a.m., Frederiksted.

Jan. 8
Adult's Parade, 10 a.m., Frederiksted.
Village closing.
