Police Have Identified Dead Man

Nov. 4, 2004 – Police have identified the 20-year-old man killed early Tuesday morning as Ashsha Isaac. Novelle Francis, territorial chief of Police, said Friday there were no suspects in the case and no motive had been determined.
Police were called at 2 a.m. Tuesday about shots being fired in the area of the Oswald Harris Court housing community where Isaac lived. When officers arrived on the scene, Francis said, they found Isaac's body lying on a sidewalk between buildings 40 and 41. He had been shot in the forehead.
"He was identified by his mother," Francis said. Isaac's mother told police that her son had been watching television at 10 p.m. when she went to bed, according to Francis. "She didn't know when he left the house," he said.
Police ask anyone with information about the shooting to call the Investigations Bureau at 715-5522.
