Kirwan Elementary Invites Parents To Visit And Read

Oct. 31, 2004 – As part of the annual American Education Week celebration, Whitman Browne, principal of the Michael J. Kirwan Elementary School, invites all school alumni to visit the school during the month of November.
"I urge all alumni to come back and read or share some of your school and life experiences with our present students," said Browne. "You can even drop by just to say 'Hi or see how the school is doing."
According to a press release from the school, alumni or parents of students currently attending the school are encouraged to visit the classrooms or to volunteer to read to students. Volunteers are asked to telephone 774-7385 or 774-3382 to arrange a date to read for a specific grade level.
