Motorists: Use Caution on Company Street

Oct. 30, 2004 – Watch for flagmen and detour signs as you traverse Company Street in Christensted approaching King and Cross Streets through Dec. 2, according to Wayne D. Callwood, Public Works commissioner.
Drainage improvements being done by Public Works, including the installation of culverts and catch basins at the intersection of these streets, is the reason, Callwood said in a release.
Callwood suggests motorists use an alternate route from Company Street to Queen Cross Street, proceeding to Strand Street or Peters Farm Road to King Street.
